Founded in 2021, MJ Dispensary LLC proudly operates as a recreational cannabis dispensary based in Rochester, New York. Since opening our doors on December 12, 2023, we’ve created a safe, engaging retail and delivery experience for adults 21 and older who appreciate quality cannabis. We prioritize customer privacy and strive to elevate every shopping experience. When you walk into MJ Dispensary, our team works hard to anticipate and meet your needs. Through our Personal Cannabis Consultation program, we listen, guide, and recommend products that match your preferences—delivering a one-of-a-kind, curated cannabis journey. Our Commitment to Community and Industry
We actively maintain a safe environment for customers and staff alike. At MJ, we embrace the growth of the cannabis industry and believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Here’s how tax revenue gives back to New York:
- 40% funds public education across the state
- 40% supports local non-profits that provide healthcare, housing, and community services
- 20% goes toward public education, treatment, and prevention programs
To further contribute, we created Round Up for Rochester Youth. Every time customers round up their purchases, those extra cents support local kids. In 2024, the community helped us donate $12,000 to School #12, an effort recognized with the New York State Senate Empire Award. In 2025, we’re proud to extend support to School #37.
